Privacy policy
Effective date: August 3, 2026
What this policy covers
This policy explains how Lamazi ("the clinic", "we") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website, send an appointment request, or contact us by phone, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook Messenger.
Your clinical records inside the clinic are governed by separate medical-confidentiality procedures and are outside the scope of this website.
Data we collect
- Appointment request form: your name, phone number, the service you ask about, and any note you write.
- Technical data: IP address and browser type, used for spam protection and rate limiting.
- Campaign data: if you arrive from an ad or shared link, we may store campaign identifiers (such as fbclid and UTM tags) in your browser for up to 90 days so we know which of our ads brought you to us.
- Messages: when you contact us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger we receive your message content, display name and number or account id, and we keep the conversation in the clinic's records to answer you and follow up.
How we use data
- To answer your enquiries, arrange, confirm and remind you of appointments.
- To improve our services and measure whether our advertising works.
- Marketing messages are sent only with your consent, and you can ask us to stop them at any time.
- We never sell your personal data.
Meta (Facebook) measurement tools
We may use the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API to measure our advertising. When you submit an appointment request we may share the fact of that request with Meta Platforms together with your phone number and name in one-way hashed form (SHA-256) — your details are never sent in readable form — plus your IP address and ad identifiers, solely for ad measurement and to avoid double-counting. Meta's processing of this data is governed by its published policies.
This privacy page and the terms page carry no tracking tools at all.
Cookies
We read the two advertising cookies (_fbp and _fbc) if they exist in your browser, and we use your browser's local storage to keep the campaign identifiers described above. We set no third-party tracking cookies of our own.
Retention and security
Appointment requests and message history are kept as part of the clinic's records for as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), is stored in access-controlled systems, and our backups are encrypted.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to stop marketing messages. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Minors
Treatment of minors requires a guardian's consent and presence; we do not knowingly collect minors' data through this website.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; any change is published on this page with an updated effective date.
